My wife and I never had a TV in the living room.  We have a few nice pieces of Mid-Century furniture, and a TV never really fit into the space.  Well, Netflix's The Queen came along and we suddenly really needed a more accessible TV.  I spent several days surfing images of vintage TVs online and came up with a design that worked well in the room and held a quality TV.  I built the first one as a Christmas present for my wife.  After that, friends suggested I try to sell them.   One Craigslist ad and some great press from the Retro Renovation website, and I'm in business!
